Olivia Kiskey has been working at the same diner since she was a teenager.  After years of being in Love with the cook Tobias and it not going anywhere she decides it's time for a change.  She plans on selling her house and moving to Europe, but the night she tells Tobias a mysterious old woman enters the diner, orders waffles and changes Olivia's life when she unlocks powers Olivia knew nothing about.  The next thing Olivia knows friends are being influenced by evil and her town is under attack by a dark power in an effort to get Olivia's powers.  Olivia must learn to fight back to save the town and people that she loves.

Review:

I loved "A little Night Magic".  It was a light humorous romantic read with a little suspense and drama thrown in.  The quirky humor in the story gave the characters very unique personalties and kept me turning the page to see what would happen next.  The author used a new perspective on the magical powers in the story that I have never seen before and was very entertaining in itself.  The story line while having a few weak points still held together and flowed from one scene to the next making me not want to put the book down.  I would definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys light romance or anyone looking for a quick fun read.

Brett Battles has created a believable story line with lifelike characters whose interactions are just as enthralling as the storyline itself. At the end of the story I was still wanting more and look forward to reading more books written by Brett Battles. HAPPY THANKSGIVING

What is your favorite part of the Holiday or what does it mean to you? 

Thanksgiving tends to make me more aware of things in my life that I have to be thankful for.  It is easy throughout the year to focus on the problems in life, but when Thanksgiving rolls around it starts to bring things into focus and makes me realize I have a lot to be thankful for and gets me in the right frame of mind for Christmas and the New Year.   

So this year I'm thankful for the fact that I have a loving Husband and two children that I can be proud of.  Thankful that we have friends that have helped us out when it was needed.  Thankful to those of you online who have become friends and just thankful in general for the life I have and all those in it.
